The Illamasqua MEDIUM PENCILS are described on their website to be creamy to create sultry eyes and sensous lips, designed to glide over skin and creat a lasting colour-true finish. Here's my review for each swatch:

PADDLE: - didn't glide over my skin. I found with a little bit of pressure, it went on only a little bit smooth. The color wasn't as consistent. I had to go over the same line 3-4 times. disappointed.

OBSCENE: glides on pretty smooth. a beautiful deep grey plum color, the color went on my skin pretty consistent. love it.

PAINT: very hard to find a yellow makeup pencil. The product went on smooth and the color was beautiful and vibrant. love it.

EXERT: product went on my skin smooth and stayed true to it's color. love it.

PLEASE: didn't glide over my skin as smoothly. It was almost like the PADDLE pencil. disappointed.

ERRANT: it looks more like a medium black rather than a dark teal as it's described. 95% of me likes it because it does go on smoothly, 5% of dislikes because it's not dark blackened teal likes its described on their website. like it.

All the pencils smudge very easily, so that's a plus if you plan on using them for that purpose. But if you don't want them to smudge...you can set it with their Sealing Gel.

Illasmasqua POWDER EYESHADOWs are described as glorious shades that makes a statement that's as individual as you are, highly pigmented, lasting colours ensure all-night intensity.  After I swatched it on my arm using UDEPP, here's my review:

PERMISSION: very soft and highly pigmented. my brush easily picked up the product. luv it.

VAPOUR: very soft and highly pigmented...brush easily picked up the product. luv it.

MAYBE?: wasn't as soft, took a bit of effort to get onto my brush. bleh...

VIRUS: wasn't as soft either, also took a bit of effort to get onto my brush. double bleh...

It kind of sucked because I love every shade of purples and pinks...so I decided to give it another go...but this time I swatched all the eyeshadows from this haul using a white base from my MUFE FLASH PALLETTE....and the swatches came out WICKED!! So now I luv them all.  I was too tired to take pictures an upload the new swatch, so just take my word for it =) Savvy?

They also really do last very long and very easy to blend.

Overall, I think Illamasqua products are awesome and their customer service is excellent. Now I only wish they would open up a store here in San Diego, CA or if Sephora stores would honor pro discounts...that would be great.
